Is Arenas Biancas is a splendid beach in southern Sardinia.
A long and wide beach of very fine-grained white sand that gives the water an intense blue color with iridescent reflections. Behind the beach, white sand dunes rise for 20 or 30 meters. In the areas farthest from the sea they are covered with the typical Mediterranean scrub and juniper. Between this oasis of incomparable beauty and the access road, the pond of Is Brebeis stretches, the summer home of numerous migratory birds, including flamingos.
